New CD, “Storybook,” available now
My new CD, “Storybook,” is now available on CDBaby, Spotify, and iTunes. This album is a collection of pieces that are not only my favorites but also ones that have lots of meaning to me in the stories that I have imagined for them. When I’m learning music, practicing, and performing, I think about what kind of message and story I can tell through the piece. Whether this story is one with actual characters or a sort of abstract one composed of different emotions, I want the audience to be able to hear what I’m feeling, and hopefully what the composer wanted people to feel. So, this album is like my own little musical storybook. But it’s your storybook, too. I love music because it can impact people, and my hope is that my music will be able to inspire people to create their own stories. I am so excited to be able to share this album with you, and I hope you enjoy it!
